Basketball Game Preview: Asheville Christian Academy Lions vs. Calvary Day School Cougars

The Asheville Christian Academy Lions will head out to challenge the Calvary Day School Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Asheville Christian Academy has insisted on making their last four contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-3 during that stretch of close contests.

On Saturday, Asheville Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Ardrey Kell and fell 53-51.

Meanwhile, Calvary Day School played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 92-48 loss at the hands of Concord Academy. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-26.

Calvary Day School's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Asheville Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Asheville Christian Academy won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in January, slipping by Calvary Day School 71-70. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
