Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southeast Bulloch). They blew past the Calvary Day Cavaliers 21-2 on Thursday. Considering the Yellow Jackets have won ten games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Southeast Bulloch pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for Calvary Day, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southeast Bulloch will be taking part in a tournament against Cross Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Calvary Day, they will venture away from home to take on Islands at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
