Volleyball Recap: Seligman Takes a Loss

Seligman saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Desert Christian Eagles. The Antelopes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Seligman was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring seven points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-7.

Desert Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Abby Numer, who had 17 assists and six aces. That's the most aces Numer has posted over her last four matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexa Yarger, who had five digs and four aces.

Seligman now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Desert Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Seligman has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Ash Fork on the 16th. As for Desert Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Chino Valley on the 12th.
