Baseball Game Preview: Pewaukee Pirates vs. Greendale Panthers

The Pewaukee Pirates will face off against the Greendale Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pewaukee comes in on 15 and Greendale on four.

Pewaukee proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by nine) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Little Chute 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pirates have posted since April 16th.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Greendale ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past Milwaukee Reagan 3-2. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by just one run.

Pewaukee's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Greendale, their win bumped their record up to 10-13.

Pewaukee got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Greendale by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
