Baseball Recap: Shaw Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Shaw and Crisp County squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Shaw had to settle for second. They fell 5-2 to the Cougars. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost four in a row.

Shaw's loss dropped their record down to 17-15. As for Crisp County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-18 record this season.

While Shaw had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
