Baseball Recap: Seckinger Takes a Loss

Seckinger fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Milton on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 6-5. The Jaguars just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Seckinger saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Mars, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Seckinger's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Milton, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-14 record this season.

While Seckinger had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
