Basketball Recap: Monte Vista Comes Up Short

Monte Vista lost against West Hills back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Monte Vista Monarchs were beaten by the West Hills Wolf Pack 51-9. The matchup marked the Monarchs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jordan Dillon was her usual excellent self, putting up 15 points and seven steals for West Hills. The contest was Dillon's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Kinser, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Monte Vista has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for West Hills, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Monte Vista has already played their next game (against Mount Miguel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Hills has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against El Cajon Valley.
