Linville Hill stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past New Covenant Christian 54-21 at home. With Linville Hill ahead 41-11 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Linville Hill can attribute much of their success to Desiree Smucker, who scored 17 points along with three steals, and Courtney Good, who scored 23 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Good has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ellie Rishel, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, with a playoff game on the line, Christian School of York rose to the challenge on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 37-35 victory over the Eagles.
Linville Hill's win bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Christian School of York, their win bumped their record up to 16-6.
