Soccer Recap: Peninsula Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Peninsula Panthers came up short against the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves and fell 3-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Jocelyn Grimme, which was the first she's scored this season.

Peninsula's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-2. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 8-5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peninsula will host South at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against El Segundo at 6:00 p.m.
