Soccer Recap: Deer Park Takes a Loss

The matchup between Deer Park and Taylor on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Wildcats lost 12-0 to the Yellowjackets. While losing is never fun, Deer Park can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 491st, while Taylor are ranked 212th).

This is the second loss in a row for Deer Park and nudges their season record down to 1-9-1. As for Taylor, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deer Park will welcome Hughes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Taylor, they will be playing at home against Northwest at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
