West Covina extends road losing streak to 13

Recap: West Covina Bulldogs vs. San Dimas Saints

The West Covina Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 54-19 loss at the hands of San Dimas. West Covina has struggled against San Dimas recently, as their match on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Jaelyn Ramos was her usual excellent self, scoring ten points along with four steals for San Dimas. Another player making a difference was Kamora Fletcher, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

West Covina dropped their record down to 4-21 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.6 points per game. As for San Dimas, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

West Covina will look to defend their home court on Monday against Diamond Ranch at 5:00 p.m. Diamond Ranch presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than West Covina in California (Diamond Ranch is ranked 439th, while West Covina is ranked 990th). As for San Dimas, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bishop Amat at 2:00 p.m. on January 27th. Bishop Amat is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
