Bisbee is 8-2 against Tombstone since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Pumas will welcome the Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. Bisbee has given up an average of 31.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Bisbee took a blow against Tanque Verde, falling 62-8. The Pumas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bisbee might have lost, but man, Hunter Wright was a machine: he picked up 165 receiving yards, and also rushed for 57 yards.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tombstone). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 63-6 victory over Santa Rita. The Yellow Jackets have beaten the Eagles the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.

Bisbee better keep an eye on Xavier Lopez. He was instrumental in Tombstone's win, rushing for 202 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries. Another player making a difference was DeShawyne Stewart, who rushed for 91 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Tombstone was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 369 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Tombstone's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Bisbee, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Bisbee was able to grind out a solid victory over Tombstone in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 27-18. Will the Pumas repeat their success, or do the Yellow Jackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
