Basketball Recap: Bishop McDevitt Comes Up Short

Bishop McDevitt played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 54-27 loss at the hands of the Susquehanna Township HANNA. The loss continues a trend for the Crusaders in their meetings with the HANNA: they've now lost three in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Bishop McDevitt lost, don't look at Brielle Saunders. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards. Saunders is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Leilah Horshaw, who posted six points and five rebounds.

Bishop McDevitt's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Susquehanna Township, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4.
