Hobbs had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 30-19 win over the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Junior Medrano produced another solid performance rushing for 133 yards and two scores while picking up 8.3 yards per carry, and also throwing for 190 yards and a pair of TDs. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 107 rushing yards.

Hobbs' victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Carlsbad, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Hobbs will square off against Cleveland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Storm have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests. Carlsbad does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
