Baseball Recap: Sequoyah Takes a Loss

Sequoyah blew Sprayberry out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Sprayberry got their revenge. The Chiefs fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 7-5.

Sequoyah now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Sprayberry, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Sequoyah will face off against rival Riverwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sprayberry is set to challenge their familiar foe Creekview at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
