Preview: Placer vs. Lindhurst
The Placer Hillmen will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lindhurst Blazers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Last Monday, Placer got the win against Oakmont by a conclusive 4-1. It was an even better day for Ella Turner as she scored three goals for her team.
Meanwhile, Lindhurst put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Friday. They never let Center onto the board and left with a 5-0 win. Lindhurst's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.
Placer's victory bumped their record up to 5-8-3. As for Lindhurst, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-8-1.
Placer took their victory against Lindhurst in their previous meeting back in February of 2020 by a conclusive 9-0. Will Placer repeat their success, or does Lindhurst have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
