Softball Recap: Valley Park Takes a Loss

Valley Park lost against St. Charles West back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hawks came up short against the Warriors, falling 18-4. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alivia Robison made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jenna Chitwood, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Valley Park's record now sits at 9-11. As for St. Charles West, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Valley Park will face off against North Callaway at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Thunderbirds' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. St. Charles West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
