Basketball Recap: West York Area's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West York Area had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mars Fightin' Planets by a score of 54-44. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Several Fightin' Planets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cecilia Christy, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carmella Mcdole, who had nine points and five rebounds.

West York Area's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Mars, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-12.

As of now, neither West York Area nor Mars have any future games scheduled.
