Baseball Recap: Loving Extends Winning Streak to Three

Loving extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping them up to 6-5. They blew past the Dexter Demons 13-1. Surprisingly, this marked the seventh straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Tristen Onsurez was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Trent Echavarilla, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Loving was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2025.

As for Dexter, they moved to 4-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but Loving's pitchers proved too tough.

On Dexter's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominic Spear, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Loving wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 loss against Eunice on the 4th. As for Dexter, they have also already played their next game, a 35-0 defeat against East Mountain on the 31st.
