Softball Recap: Centralia Extends Winning Streak to Four

Centralia had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Hannibal Pirates with a sharp 16-1 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Centralia's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Hannibal, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Coincidentally, Centralia and Hannibal will both be playing Kirksville the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Tigers at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, while the Pirates will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
