Baseball Recap: Tattnall County Comes Up Short at Home Against Emanuel County Institute

Tattnall County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 14-4. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 21 in a row.

Tattnall County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Chambless, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another was Bailey Blair, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Looking ahead, Tattnall County will square off against Vidalia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Emanuel County Institute, they are taking a road trip to square off against Savannah Country Day at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
