Football Recap: North Cobb Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McEachern, North Cobb was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 34-24 win over the East Coweta Indians. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Indians are ranked 64th).

East Coweta's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ricky Howell Jr, who rushed for 87 yards and one touchdown on only five carries, and Andrew Shoch, who threw for 144 yards and one TD.
