Soccer Recap: Whitney Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Whitney had to endure a 12-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged the Granite Bay Grizzlies out 1-0. The Wildcats' winning goal came courtesy of Nina Souto.

Whitney's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-12 and their overall record up to 3-16-1. As for Granite Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-2.

Whitney has already played their next matchup (against Rocklin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Granite Bay will welcome Del Oro at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
