Oakley never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Syracuse on Friday. They took down the Bulldogs 49-30. The win continues a trend for the Plainsmen in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won seven in a row.

The victory got Oakley back to even at 2-2. As for Syracuse, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakley will host Plainville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Plainsmen will be up against the Cardinals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Syracuse, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Stanton County at 7:00 p.m.
