Softball Recap: Quinton Gets the Win

While Quinton's win against Wright City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Savages won by a run and slipped past the Lumberjax 4-3. Four seems to be a good number for the Savages as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Quinton now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Wright City, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Quinton will square off against Stigler at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Savages surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wright City, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Smithville at 4:30 p.m. on September 8.
