Softball Recap: Peachtree Ridge Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lanier on Wednesday, Peachtree Ridge came back down to earth. The Lions lost 17-7 to the Parkview Panthers on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Peachtree Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Parkview, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.

Coming up, Peachtree Ridge will face off against Dunwoody at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last six matchups. As for Parkview, they will square off against Lovett at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
