Frontenac and Holton squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Frontenac had to settle for second. They fell 14-6 to the Wildcats. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Andrew Shupe had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 131 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries for Holton. Shupe has become a key player for the Wildcats: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 3-4 otherwise.

Frontenac's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Holton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Frontenac does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holton, they will face off against Santa Fe Trail on Friday. The Chargers' defense has only allowed 11.2 points per game this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them.
