Soccer Recap: Mid-Prairie Takes a Loss

Mid-Prairie managed to slip by Prince of Peace Prep the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Golden Hawks lost 3-0 to the Irish on Friday. Mid-Prairie just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Mid-Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13-1. As for Prince of Peace Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-8-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mid-Prairie will take on Cascade at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Prince of Peace Prep, they will face off against Maquoketa at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Maquoketa will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Prince of Peace Prep surely won't give up without a fight.
