Recap: Wyalusing Valley Rams vs. Sayre Redskins
The Wyalusing Valley Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 61-21 win over Sayre. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Wyalusing Valley as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Sayre's loss came despite strong showings from Abbie McGaughey and Meghan Flynn. McGaughey scored eight points along with seven rebounds, while Flynn scored eight points along with two steals.
Wyalusing Valley's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7. As for Sayre, they dropped their record down to 0-18 with that loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Wyalusing Valley will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Redskins at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Sayre focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Monday. As for they, they will head out on the road to square off against Wyalusing Valley at 7:30 p.m.
