Football Recap: Urijah Arrey and Josiah Madrid Secure Win for Silver + How To Watch

Silver won against Chaparral last Friday with 21 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Fighting Colts snuck past the Albuquerque Academy Chargers with a 21-17 victory. The Fighting Colts have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chargers, too.

Leading Silver to victory were Josiah Madrid and Urijah Arrey. Madrid threw for 214 yards and two TDs, while Arrey picked up 41 receiving yards and one score.

The win made it two in a row for Silver and bumps their season record up to 6-3. As for Albuquerque Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Silver will take on Manzano at 3:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Albuquerque Academy, they will face off against Portales at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
