Recap: Rosamond Roadrunners vs. Boron Bobcats
The Rosamond Roadrunners can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They breezed by Boron on the road to the tune of 59-27. The victory was familiar territory for Rosamond who now have six in a row.
Ariel Cain continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 26 points, 13 rebounds, and ten steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Rosamond's points. Rihanna Williams was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Despite the loss, Boron still got an impressive performance from Hailey Davis, who scored 18 points along with four steals. Davis has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynn Dadey, who scored two points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Rosamond pushed their record up to 18-7 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Boron, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
Rosamond will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Kern Valley at 6:00 p.m. Boron does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
