Softball Recap: Seckinger Comes Up Short

If Seckinger was riding high fresh off their 20-2 takedown of Lanier on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jaguars took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastside Eagles on Wednesday.

Seckinger saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Milan Torres, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Seckinger's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Eastside, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Coming up, Seckinger will welcome Roswell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Jaguars' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Eastside, they will face off against Madison County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
