Whitney's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 19-8. As for Oxford Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-10.

Everything came up roses for Whitney against Oxford Academy when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 70-31 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Whitney since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
