There's no place like home for Wheaton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They strolled past the Watkins Mill Wolverines with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 32-18. The Knights pushed the score to 32-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wolverines cut but never quite recovered from.

Defeat or not, Watkins Mill got some senior leadership from Amir Hawkins and Jeremiah Sparkman. Hawkins gained 88 total yards, while Sparkman threw for 153 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Wheaton's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Watkins Mill, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wheaton will host Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Watkins Mill, they will square off against Poolesville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
