Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tompkins). They enjoyed a cozy 68-53 victory over the South Houston Trojans on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 8-2. As for South Houston, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Looking ahead, Tompkins will challenge Fulshear at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Houston, they will face off against Alief Taylor at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
