Basketball Recap: High Tech CV Takes a Loss

High Tech CV was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the San Diego Academy Cavaliers, falling 54-34. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cavaliers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why High Tech CV lost, don't look at Ella Navarro. Despite the final result, she posted 16 points. That was a full 47.1% of High Tech CV's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zarrielle Samson, who earned nine points.

High Tech CV's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for San Diego Academy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

High Tech CV has already played their next match (against Gompers Prep Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. San Diego Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-14 victory against Mountain Empire on the 27th.
