Softball Game Preview: West Lyon Wildcats vs. Hinton Blackhawks

West Lyon has won 14 straight games at home, while Hinton has won 14 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Wildcats will welcome the Blackhawks. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (West Lyon 3, Hinton 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Friday, West Lyon got the win against Ridge View by a conclusive 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 15 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, while Hinton put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for West Sioux. The Blackhawks walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Falcons. The Blackhawks haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Hinton's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for West Lyon, their win bumped their record up to 27-1.
