Basketball Recap: Indio Takes a Loss

Indio was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 51-22 defeat at the hands of the La Quinta Blackhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rajahs of the 45-10 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Indio's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for La Quinta, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Indio will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Yucca Valley at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for La Quinta, they will take on Stevenson in a tournament on December 26th.
