Lithia Springs hasn't had much luck against Douglas County recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Lithia Springs Lions challenge Douglas County Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Douglas County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lithia Springs, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Lithia Springs got the win against South Cobb by a conclusive 16-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Domani Weems made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Weems is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
