Soccer Recap: Alhambra Takes a Loss

Alhambra fell victim to San Gabriel and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the San Gabriel Matadors by a score of 1-0. The Moors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Matadors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Alhambra's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5-2. As for San Gabriel, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alhambra will host Mark Keppel at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mark Keppel will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Alhambra surely won't give up without a fight. San Gabriel has already played their next game (against Montebello), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
