Baseball Recap: Dalton Comes Up Short

Dalton lost to Cedartown on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Catamounts took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Catamounts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dalton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caine Woods, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Dalton's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Cedartown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9.

While Dalton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
