Basketball Recap: High Point Baptist Academy Comes Up Short

High Point Baptist Academy played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Linville Hill Warriors 42-12. The Eagles have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Linville Hill was led to victory by Desiree Smucker and Courtney Good. Smucker posted ten points and five rebounds, while Good went 5 for 10 on her way to 13 points. Smucker is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Ellie Rishel, who put up six points and five boards.

High Point Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Linville Hill, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-1.
