Independence has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the 10th. They fell just short of the Williamsburg Raiders by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Independence have lost by just one goal.

Independence's loss dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Williamsburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-1-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Independence will head out to take on North Fayette Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Fayette Valley will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Independence surely won't give up without a fight. As for Williamsburg, they will face off against Vinton-Shellsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
