Recap: Foothill Mustangs vs. Florin Panthers
The Foothill Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Florin 56-18 at home. The result was nothing new for Foothill, who have now won five games by 29 points or more so far this season.
Zeniah Thompson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Foothill's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaliyah Benjamin-Wade, who scored 12 points.
The victory got Foothill back to even at 7-7. As for Florin, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Foothill will head out on the road to face off against Natomas at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Natomas is ranked 966th, while Foothill is ranked 950th). As for Florin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
