South Side's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 30-29 victory over the Brentwood Spartans. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

South Side now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Brentwood, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Side is set to take on their familiar foe Burgettstown at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Brentwood will square off against rival Fort Cherry at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
