Football Recap: Pace Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Pace Academy's offense. They were beaten by the Creekside Seminoles 55-0 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 38 points in the game before, the Knights' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Kaiden Harley threw for 60 yards on seven of 25 attempts. Brian Clark was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards.

Cayden Benson had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 454 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 19.7 yards per attempt for Creekside. Those six passing touchdowns gave Benson a new career-high. Damien Henderson was Benson's top target, picking up 140 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Pace Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Creekside, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Pace Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 27-12 loss against Midtown on the 9th. As for Creekside, they have also already played their next contest, a 91-0 win against Drew on the 10th.
