Basketball Game Preview: Louisville Royals vs. Chaminade Eagles

The Louisville Royals will square off against the Chaminade Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Louisville will be strutting in after a victory while Chaminade will be coming in after a loss.

On Saturday, Louisville slipped by Highland 48-47. Given the Royals' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 319th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Chaminade didn't have quite enough to beat Marlborough on Friday and fell 71-68. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Eagles have suffered against the Mustangs since January 11, 2022.

The win got Louisville back to even at 7-7. As for Chaminade, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
