Lisbon waltzed into their match on Saturday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They came out on top against the Jesup J-Hawks by a score of 4-1. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lisbon's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-12. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Jesup, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 24-11.

Coming up, Lisbon will look to defend their home field on Monday against Durant. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Jesup does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
