Baseball Recap: Red Oak Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Red Oak's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Creston Panthers on Thursday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Red Oak's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Creston, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Oak will take on Nodaway Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Creston, they will face off against A-D-M at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.71 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
