Volleyball Recap: Raytown Comes Up Short

Raytown came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Platte County Pirates. The Bluejays have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-13.

Raytown now has a losing record of 9-10-2. As for Platte County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9-2 record this season.

Raytown will square off against Truman at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Platte County, they will take on Chrisman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
